Who makes up the rules on what you can and can’t look like?

 


I like to think if you don’t like something about yourself why not change it, except nothing is quite that clear cut. Some people are always looking for the reasons why someone might go to extremes when really it’s up to the individual as to how they present themselves, best not give a fuck what anyone else thinks (well, as long as they pay you homage).

This week we’re warming up with first Thursday of the month Quiz Me Maybe – EuroQUIZZIN’ Special on May 5th at the Dalston Superstore. Brought to us by superstar drag sisters ShayShay & May who will be obsessing over the Eurovision Song Contest from 7pm.

Roll up! Glory Wotever celebrate Too Queer for your Binary on Friday 6th May with non-stop non-binary cabaret and disco at The Glory. Catch star turns from the likes of Baby Lame, Maxi Moore and more, more, more – 8pm prompt, dance & drink ‘til 2am.

Up at Vogue Fabrics it’s Gay Vinyl London w. secret guest DJ Niksi, LSDXOXO (Qween beat NYC), Jesse Kanda and international cult peformer No Bra! It’s on Friday 6th 9pm-3am.

Looking ahead on Saturday 12th it’s The Legend of Leigh Bowery and a night dedicated to his brilliance and legacy. The Amy Grimehouse have curated a screening, talks and performance over the two floors of The Glory from 7pm…

…and a new club alert this month! Private Life is opening on Saturday 28th May somewhere near Old Street! Not much details on this one yet but it’s over 4 floors with VIP booths, PAs, DJs and all sorts. With Fat Tony holding the fort it’s bound to be tres chic!
