After all the highs, there’s always a few lows. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s the law of nature innit really.

You know, things don’t just magic themselves out of thin air! It might look that way, but in fact it takes a certain amount of creative energy to put a look together, create a night or lay on some entertainment. We might make it look easy, and that’s the way it should be, but it can take a lifetime of dedication and research to arrive at the winning formula! Our clubs and bars in London are continually reinventing themselves with a nightlife family that’s always thinking outside the box.

I might be a bit late to the party with this one, but over at The Bloc in Camden they’ve opened Her Upstairs – a new cabaret spot which is, well, upstairs on the first floor of The Bloc. Proceedings start at 7pm with star turns and DJs. Hosted by Meth and a myriad of friends.

Returning to The Glory this weekend, Homo Superior on Friday 7th October have a ‘Queer Artists, Icons & Anthems Party’ for you to enjoy. DJs Sina Sparrow from Debbie, and Panos Z, play a camp indie soundtrack from 10pm-2am.
Lovers of late night all night dives make tracks to SWEAT – Dance Party on Saturday 8th October at East Bloc, where from 10pm – 6am Dave Kendrick, Josh Café, Pavliné and Tafkanik take over.

With Halloween on the horizon, I’m preparing you for a few highlights. What about this one: Sink The Pink Freaky Friday on Friday 28th October at Oval Space, 29-32 The Oval E2. All the gang are preparing for our fave time of the year with ghoulish shows and dance routines. Hosted by Glynfamous, shows all night from Jonbenet Blonde, Maxi Moore, Mz Kimberley, Chester Hayes, Hungry, Lewis Burton, Stoli Guy (passionate about dance), and the Patron Saint of Halloween, Rodent Decay.
